Here's how you helped us Pay it Forward during September

Paying It Forward

In the words of Dr. Seuss; "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child".

During September, we celebrated International Literacy Day and in support of the cause we promised that for every Kaali purchase, we'd donate a book to the Wordworks Storybook Fund. With your help, we managed to donate 65 books which will be used to supply the Wordworks network of parents, volunteers, teachers and home visitors who are working to improve literacy in their communities.

Did you miss our campaign? You can still donate directly to the fund here. And if you're a small business like we are, we challenge you to champion literacy by gathering your troops to drive awareness and support for this amazing Wordworks initiative. After all, these little ones are the future of our country and literacy development is such an important base to set them up for success.

Wordworks is a South African non-profit organisation that focuses on early language and literacy development in the first eight years of children's lives.
